  We often forget that hard copy document disposal and protection is just as important as the disposal and protection of electronic data. During a recent bout of dumpster diving conducted by the UC Information Security department, we found thousands of documents that contained sensitive and regulated data.

  Enhancing Identity Management at UC

  UCit Awarded Grant to Study Virtual World of Second Life

  UCit Instructional & Research Computing established a pilot presence in the 3D virtual world of Second Life in late 2006, and in 2007 received a grant from the Ohio Learning Network to establish a faculty and staff learning community committed to evaluating the feasibility of the platform for higher education.

with the Microsoft Corporation, beginning 1 July 2007 and ending on

  UCit to License JMP Statistical Software

license agreement for the JMP statistical software package from the SAS Institute.
